FitFilm is a dedicated on-site wellness facility designed to support the physical maintenance and psychological health of cast and crew throughout production.
Film and television productions place extraordinary physical and mental demands on the people who make them.

Long working hours, physically demanding roles, changing schedules and limited opportunities for exercise can all affect the wellbeing of cast and crew.
FitFilm offers a simple, practical response: a fully equipped mobile wellness facility located directly where productions are working.
Our fully kitted-out 7.5-tonne, 23-foot truck delivers the wellness resource to where people work, rather than leaving cast and crew to travel significant distances to seek out healthy pursuits after long shifts.
By bringing wellbeing into the working environment, FitFilm makes it easier for cast and crew to maintain their physical conditioning, support their general health and incorporate exercise into demanding production schedules.

Joseph Fiennes is an award winning actor known for his diverse and emotive roles spanning three decades across both stage and screen. Beyond his performing career, Joe maintains a balanced lifestyle centred around wellbeing and fitness, driven by a conviction that wellness should sit at the heart of the film and entertainment industry. This lead him to found FitFilm in 2024.
Dan Symons is a sports rehabilitation therapist who formerly spent two decades in the music and entertainment industry as a signed artist, record label executive and agency owner. He now runs Recovertorium, a boutique sports recovery clinic in SW London, specialising in manual therapy and injury recovery.
Having spent much of my working life on film and television sets, I’ve become increasingly aware of the physical and mental demands placed on cast and crew—particularly the long hours, demanding schedules and limited opportunities to look after their health and wellbeing.
With this in mind, I established FitFilm, a fully equipped mobile gym and wellness hub designed specifically for the film and television industry.
The facility has already been used on various film productions, receiving very positive feedback from those who had access to it. The idea is simple: to bring fitness and wellbeing directly to the workplace, making it accessible to everyone on a production, from actors and stunt performers to technicians and crew.
My wider ambition is to encourage studios and production companies to recognise physical wellbeing not as an optional luxury, but as an important part of supporting a healthy, resilient and productive workforce. Regular exercise, physical conditioning and maintenance, and the opportunity to decompress, can make a meaningful contribution to people’s general health and wellbeing, particularly in an industry as demanding as ours.
Ultimately, FitFilm seeks to alter the industry mindset around what constitutes looking after cast and crew. I’d love to see accessible fitness and wellbeing facilities become a more established part of the production environment, benefiting everyone who works within it.
I hope you can see our ambition and join us on the journey.
Thank you,
Joe
